WALES – Elizabeth S. Paradis, 26, of 85 Oak Hill Road, Litchfield, died Friday, Nov. 16, in an automobile accident.
Born in Lewiston on Jan. 28, 1981, she was the daughter of Alcide and Patricia Bernier Paradis, and the stepdaughter of Jean P. Pratte. She attended Monmouth schools and graduated from Monmouth Academy in 1999.
For the last 10 years, she was employed by Cailler Painters. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing and spending time with her friends. Above all, she loved raising her animals, and spending time with them, and will be sadly missed by all in the animal kingdom. She loved her “old” farmhouse, and spent many loving hours improving it with her best friend and companion, Tom Thomas.
She is survived by her parents, Jean and Patricia Pratte of Monmouth; two brothers, Jeffrey Paradis of West Gardiner, and John Pratte and wife, Elizabeth, of Readfield; a niece, Minna Pratte of Readfield; grandparents, Alphee and Irene Pratte of Lewiston; her companion and true love, Tom Thomas, of Litchfield; aunts and uncles, David and Karen Bernier of Lewiston, Tom and Diane Bernier of Lewiston, Peter and Linda Bernier of Poland, Richard and Solange Pepin of Lewiston, Michel and Camille Laliberte of Lewiston, Marcel and Beatrice Laliberte of Vermont, David and Louise Lagassey of Florida, Danny and Faye Prue of Auburn, Marc and Lisa Therrien of Winthrop, Janet Grandmaison of Anson, Paul Paradis of Monmouth, Tony and Kathy Paradis of Searsmont, and Robert Paradis of Lisbon; her dogs, Liam and Ginger; and her two best friends, Kristen Libby of Gardiner and Naomi Sirois of Virginia.
She was predeceased by her father, Alcide Paradis; her maternal grandparents, Alfred and Maureen Bernier; and her paternal grandparents, Gerard and Geneva Paradis.
