LEWISTON – Daniel Lagasse, 51, of Auburn, died Nov. 9, following a brief illness with family and friends by his side.
He was born in Lewiston on March 6, 1956, the son of Roland Lagasse and Marie (Gervais) Lagasse. He was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1975.
He was employed at Pineland Center for over 20 years and was recently working at John F. Murphy homes.
He was very passionate about his work and excelled to a level that brought beauty, inspiration and respect throughout his career.
He enjoyed playing poker and bingo and loved spending time with his little dogs, Abby and Gracie.
His sharp wit and bright spirit will never be forgotten.
He is survived by companion Michael Lamourreux; his mother, Marie Lagasse of Auburn; two sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Sandy) Sieckowski of Lewiston and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen (Phillippa) Auclair of Auburn; a brother, Louis P. Lagasse of Auburn; a sister-in-law, Celine Lagasse of Lewiston; nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Mark (Michelle) Fournier, Stephanie and fiancé Mike, Benjamin, Ryan, Joey and great-nephew Mark.
He was predeceased by his stepfather, Louis P. Lagasse Sr.; and a brother, Robert Lagasse.
The family would like to wish their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the CMMC ICU staff for their care, compassion, kindness and continued support during the last several weeks.
