CONCORD, N.H. – Roland Joseph Bouchard, 72, of Alice Drive died Saturday, Nov. 3, in his home after a long illness.
He was born in Van Buren on Jan. 20, 1935, the son of Leon and Cecile (Levesque) Bouchard. His family moved to Lewiston, where he spent many years. He then moved to Manchester, N.H., where he lived for more than 35 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1957. He worked for The Hampshire Plaza in Manchester, N.H., for 23 years, and also worked for Mitsubishi for six years. He then moved to Concord, N..H to retire.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Diane S. (Veilleux) Bouchard of Concord, N.H.; two sons, Michael Bouchard and his wife, Elaine, of Northfield, N.H., and Brian Bouchard and his wife, Jamie, of Danbury, N.H.; two brothers, Roger Bouchard of Lewiston and Normand Bouchard and his wife, Alta, of Lisbon Falls; one sister, Leola Bouthot of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Natasha St. Pierre, Sonja Bouchard, Cooper Bouchard and Chloe Bouchard; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
