RICHMOND, Ind. – David M. Grafflin, 58, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, at Reid Hospital.

Born Feb. 28, 1949, in Baltimore, Md., to Allan and Catherine Dennis Grafflin, he was a resident of this area since 1967. David was a 1971 graduate of Earlham College, where his grandfather was president for many years. He was the business team leader for Wacker Silicones. He was a member of Forest Hills Country Club and various business associations.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Roller Grafflin, to whom he was married in 1971; two sons, Jonathan Grafflin and his wife, Laura, of Dallas, Texas, and Matthew Grafflin of Richmond; granddaughter, Sofia Grafflin; brother, Dennis Grafflin and his wife, Jan, of Lewiston; sister, Mary Grafflin of San Francisco, Ca.; and nephew, Calder Grafflin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
