OTISFIELD – Gordon O. Delano, 73, of Otisfield died unexpectedly early Friday, Oct. 19, at his home.

He was born in Rumford, Feb. 20, 1934, a son of Dura “Roosevelt” and Mildred Chamberlin Delano. He enjoyed attending the Progress Center in Norway and working outside at the Millbrook Farm.

He is survived by his two brothers, Dura Roosevelt Delano Jr. of McCook, Neb., and Clinton Delano of Peru; a sister, Dorothy Dickey of East Millinocket; and his special caregivers, Donald and Sharon Matthews and their children of Otisfield.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Perley, Lawrence and Francis; and a sister, Marion.
