AUBURN – Wayne W. Smith, 60, of Poland, died peacefully Saturday morning, Oct. 13, at the Hospice House.

He was born in Lewiston on May 28, 1947, the son of Harry and Laura Smith. He was a 1965 graduate of Edward Little High School.

He was employed at Formed Fiber Technologies at the time of his illness.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Smith, of Poland.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Brian Smith.
