1928 – 2007
AUBURN — Marie Ethel Therese (Maheux) Stasick, 79, a resident of 71 Spring St., Auburn, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, at her home.
She was born in Auburn on Feb. 11, 1928, the daughter of Emile and Marie-Ange (Pomerleau) Maheux. She attended local schools and worked for more than 30 years at Kearfott Guidance & Navigation Corporation in New Jersey.
She traveled extensively throughout the United States and enjoyed visiting family in Quebec, Canada. She especially enjoyed her trip to China in 1997. Upon retirement, she moved back to the local area and worked as a volunteer at St. Mary’s’ gift shop and the public theater, and attended Court Street Baptist Church in Auburn.
Survivors include a son, Bradford E. Brackenbury of Tucson, Ariz., and his wife, Janis; a daughter, Brenda E. Bisson and her husband, Paul, of Auburn; two grandsons, Michael P. Bisson and his wife, Kimberly, of Pleasanton, Calif., and Timothy R. Bisson and his wife, Jennifer, of Northport, N.Y.; and three great-grandchildren, Camille Bisson of California, and Jack and Aiden Bisson of New York; as well as nieces and nephews in Maine and Arizona.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Lucien Maheux of Tucson, Ariz.,, and Raymond Maheux of Auburn.
