AUBURN – Gilberte G. Allen, 88, formerly of 135 Horton St., Lewiston, and Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, went to the Lord on Oct. 4, with her niece Connie by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, on April 19, 1919, a daughter of Joseph and Lumina Dussault Allen. She enjoyed going to the restaurant with her niece Connie Gauthier, who took care of her well-being for the past 15 years.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Rolande (Allen) Lamorre, Lorraine (LeBlanc) Guay and her husband, Paul, Jeannine (Moreau) Marquis, Constance (Moreau) Gauthier and her husband, Pete, Michelle (Lemieux) Simmons and her husband, Ed, Donald LeBlanc and his wife, Muriel, Bruce Lemieux and his wife, Jackie and Richard Lemieux and his wife, Doris.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Mrs. Valmont Jeannette Leblanc, Mrs. Roland Irene Moreau and Mrs. Marc Gertrude Lemieux; her brothers, Roland and Jeannette Allen and Origene and Ronald Allen.
