RICHMOND – Robert L. Pollard, 52, of Richmond, died Saturday, Sept. 22, at his residence after a brief illness.

Bobby was born in Ludlow, Vt., on Jan. 11, 1955, a son to the late Henry M. and Vera L. (Bolia) Pollard. He was recently working as a service clerk at Shaw’s in Freeport. Those who knew him well knew how much he loved music and the enormous collection of 8-tracks and records he had.

He leaves behind his fiancé, Marcia Curtis of Richmond; also his siblings and their spouses, Calvin and Cindy Pollard of Poland, Charles and Anita Pollard of Vermont, Lynn Berry of Poland, Diane Chabot of Lewiston, Julie Robichaud and fiancé, Charles Bourgette of West Minot and Henry and Lisa Pollard of Oxford; his stepchildren, Matthew Strout of Bridgton, Mark Strout of Bishop, Calif., and Mitchell Strout of Warren; 20 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren; he will be sadly missed by all his family, especially his bro and best friend Calvin.
