GREENE – Funeral services were Saturday afternoon for Geneva S. Reed at the Greene Baptist Church. The Rev. Chester Garrison and Pastor Richard Wrentzel officiated at the service. Special scriptures and memories were shared by dear friends, Eva Philbrook, her pastor from the 70s and 80s, the Rev. William Baxter, and fellow teacher, Lloyd Proctor and librarian, Linda Procter. Three of Geneva’s favorite hymns were played by organist, Therese Therrien, “How Great Thou Art,” “This is my Father’s House,” and “In the Garden.” Interment was at Valley Cemetery, Greene. Sweets and tea were served in the church hall. Arrangements under the care of Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, Monmouth.
