LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Cecile P. Cote was held Tuesday at Holy Family Church, after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan Murch celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. During Mass readings were done by granddaughter, Diane Hughes and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Hughes. Prayer of the faithful was read by Susanne Russell and gifts of the offertory were brought to the altar by Cecile’s great-grandchildren, Travis Selwood, Joshua Selwood, Theresa Green, Cyrstal Green, Courtney Caron and Nikkita Sampson. Words of remembrance were done by granddaughters, Maureen Caron and Denise Clougherty. Pallbearers were Robert Giguere, Dan Caron, Dan J. Caron, Dustin Caron, Jean Fournier and Ryan Coffin. After services, a reception of fellowship was held at the home of Don and Lucille Fournier in Poland.
