LEWISTON – Funeral services for Richard L. Bussiere were held Friday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, followed by committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery, where taps was played and the formal presentation of the flag was offered. The Rev. Robert Lariviere officiated at the Mass with co-celebrant, Brother Irenee Richard, who recited committal prayers. Pallbearers were Jerry and Maurice Blondin, Frank Brooks, Don Dubuc and Maurice and Roger Bussiere. Services were under the direction of The Fortin Group Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
