POLAND – Robert M. Frank, 47, of Poland, died unexpectedly at his home Thursday, May 24.
He was born March 11, 1960, to Winslow and Louise Frank Sr. He was educated in Poland schools and chose to live there for most of his life.
On June 4, 1983, he married his best friend and the love of his life, Brenda Remillard of New Gloucester. They shared 26 wonderful years together. On Sept. 22, 1987, they welcomed their daughter, Melanie. Melanie was his pride and joy. He always said she was his greatest accomplishment.
For the past 25 years he worked as a house painter in the area. He enjoyed the outdoors. He was a hunter and loved to fish, especially fly fishing. He enjoyed camping, long walks in the woods, family get-togethers with his wife’s extended family, and watching NASCAR and the Red Sox with his wife. One of the things he enjoyed most was the anniversary trips to Bar Harbor with Brenda every year.
He is survived by his wife and daughter of Poland; two brothers, Winslow Jr. of Lewiston, and Eric of Sabattus; two sisters; a very special friend and sister-in-law, Donna; and the rest of the “gang”; his father-in-law, George Remillard of New Gloucester; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, “Spice.”
