FARMINGTON – Carol Ann Churchill, 48, of Jay, died Monday, May 21, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
She was born in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Christmas Eve, 1958, a daughter of Charles A. and Barbara E. (Lawrence) Garner. She earned her GED in 1984, and was employed for many years at Forster Mfg. Co. in East Wilton.
She was married to Robert L. Churchill for 28 years. Known for being very self sufficient, she enjoyed tinkering on special projects. She loved her cats and her dog “Max,” was an Elvis fan and always enjoyed being in the company of her family and close friends.
She is survived by a son, Dana Churchill, and a daughter, Mandy Churchill, both of Jay; three grandchildren, Brittney, Owen and Scarlett; two sisters, Barbara Whittemore of Jay and Deborah Lovett, and her husband, Randy, of Bushnell, Fla.; two brothers, Andrew Garner of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Charles Garner, and his companion, Deborah Gormley, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; her former husband, Robert L. Churchill of North Jay; nieces, nephews and special friends; and caregivers, Darrel and Crystal Gregor of East Livermore.
She was predeceased by her parents.
