BRUNSWICK – Edward J. St Pierre, 85, of Pleasant Street, died Sunday, May 13, at Parkview Adventist Medical Center.
He was born in Brunswick, April 9, 1922, the son of Arthur H. and Alice Laliberte St Pierre. He attended St John’s Parochial School and graduated from Brunswick High School. During World War II he served in the Army.
On July 10, 1957 he married Yolande Juneau.
For most of his life he enjoyed working as an appliance repairman. He worked for Fortin’s Appliance until its closing. He then worked 15 years for US Gypsum in Lisbon Falls retiring in 1984. He then owned and operated Eddie’s Appliance Service until the time of his death.
He also enjoyed eating out.
Surviving besides his wife of Brunswick, is a son, George St Pierre, and his wife, Doris, of Freeport; a daughter, Jane Guimont of Brunswick; two sisters, Florence Hosmer, and her husband, Glen, of Bath and Sister Priscilla St Pierre, SP of Holyoke, Mass.; two brothers, Reginald St Pierre, and his wife, Irene, of Hartford, Conn. and George St Pierre of Somerville, Mass.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
