AUBURN – Richard Marshall Sr., 56, of Auburn died Monday, May 7, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston on July 5, 1950, the son of Ralph and Gwendolyn Thurlow Marshall. He graduated from Gray-New Gloucester High School and had been employed at Poland Spring Bottling Co. for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and fishing.

He is survived by a son, Richard Marshall Jr. of Lewiston; his father, Ralph Marshall of Poland; sisters, Ida Thompson, Fay Gagne and Joan Stewart and brothers, Brian Marshall and Ronnie Marshall, all of Poland.

He was predeceased by his mother, Gwendolyn Marshall; and a brother, George Marshall.
