WINTHROP – Florence G. Frank, 89, formerly of Lewiston and more recently of Winthrop, died Friday, April 27, at Heritage Rehab and Living Center in Winthrop.

She was born in Houlton on Dec. 25, 1917, a daughter of Thomas and Alice (Shields) McNally. She attended Houlton schools and married Leonard W. Frank.

She was employed at Congress Shirt Factory in Bath and later at W. T. Grant’s in Bath. In 1996, she moved from Bath to Lewiston.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bath and the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lewiston.

She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Chateauvert of Hallowell, and Colleen Giroux of Topsham; one son, Leonard Frank Jr. of Missoula, Mont.; one sister, Alice Mulholland of North Adams, Mass.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Frank Sr.; two brothers, Donald McNally and Thomas McNally; and one sister, Marion Furrow.
