LEBANON, N.H. – Michael W. Wyman, 41, of Jay, died Friday, April 20, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, after a serious illness in which he received an aortic valve replacement.

He was born Feb. 8, 1966, in Rumford, the son of Milford and Maxine (Drown) Wyman.

He attended Jay schools.

Mike was a very talented musician, singer and songwriter.

He worked for many years as a logger, heavy equipment operator and as a crew member on many construction sites in Maine and New Hampshire. He will be remembered warmly and sadly missed by his many friends and loved ones.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Wyman of North Jay; his fiancé, Susan Jewell and her two children, Chelsea and Nick, of New Hampshire; his parents, Milford and Maxine Wyman of North Jay; one sister, Dawn McArthur, her husband, Ralph, and their five children Elizabeth, Evan, Elliot, Emily and Erika of Farmington; his maternal grandparents, Lendall and Clara Drown of North Jay; a special aunt and uncle, Blinda and Bill Burgess of Quincy, Mass.; and many other special relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his sister, Wendy Lou Wyman, in 2005.
