AUBURN – Patricia M. Poulin, 68, of 2 Marie Circle, Sabattus, died Friday, April 20, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, following a short illness surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Waterville March 15, 1939, the daughter of the late George and Gertrude Madore Poulin. She was a 1957 graduate of Lewiston High School.
On Sept. 28, 1957, she married Raymond A. Poulin in Lewiston. She was a loving, caring, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to make people laugh.
She loved cooking, dancing and reading. She also, along with her husband, raised their granddaughter, Becky. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her sparkling personality and wonderful sense of humor.
Mrs. Poulin was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and worked at Raytheon and Blais Flower Shop.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Raymond, of Sabattus; two daughters, Rhonda Martel and husband, Raymond, of Lewiston, and Deborah St. Hilaire and partner, Cindy Mattson, of Augusta; a son, Scott Poulin and wife, Patty, of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Christopher Martel of Lewiston, Allison DeChamplain of Lisbon, and Rebecca Poulin of Lewiston; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Martel of Lewiston; two brothers, Robert Poulin and wife, Pam, of Minot, and Richard Poulin of Lewiston; two sisters, Nancy Campbell and husband, Ronald, of Lewiston, and Janet Chapman and husband, Gary, of Auburn; a brother-in-law, Normand Poulin and wife, Patricia, of Lewiston; two sisters-in-law, Jeanine Cote and husband, Romeo, of Lewiston, and Sue Poulin of Sabattus; and many nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to the staff at St. Mary’s ICU and D3 units, Dr. Christiansen and his staff , and also to Dr. Austin and the staff at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
