LEWISTON – Marcia P. Smith, 92, a resident of West Bates St., Auburn, died early Sunday morning, April 8, at Central Maine Medical Center, following a lingering illness.

She was born in Auburn, March 25, 1915, the daughter of Lewis and Effie Piper.

Survivors include one nephew, James Knight of Florida.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Smith, who died March 28, 2004.
