LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Marguerite M. Fortin was held Tuesday morning at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.

The Rev. Daniel Greenleaf celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

During Mass, Anne Barriault gave the first reading, Constance Cyr gave the second reading and Gerry Morin read the General Intercessions.

Gerry Morin also read a poem and shared words of remembrance at the conclusion of Mass, both in English and in French in recognition of her French heritage and for the benefit of those Canadian relatives that were in attendance.
