AUBURN – Funeral services honoring the life of Fernand D. Ouellette were held Wednesday morning from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham and Son, with the Rev. James Morrison presiding.

During the service, words of remembrance were expressed by Fern’s nephew, John Ouellette. After proceeding to the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta, the Rev. Gilbert Patenaude recited committal prayers followed by the U.S. Air Force honor detail’s playing of taps. Presentation of our country’s flag was made to Fern’s son, Billy Gendron, in honor of his father’s service to his country.
