LEWISTON – Jeannine A. Morin, 66, of Pierce Street, died Friday afternoon, March 2, at Central Maine Medical Center with family at her side.

She was born in Lewiston on June 14, 1940, the daughter of Maurice and Jeanne (Larocque) Lizotte.

She was married to Robert Morin, who has predeceased her.

She was educated in Lewiston schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community.

She first worked for a number of years in local shoe factories and later worked for a time at BIW.

She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, and in her free time she enjoyed playing cards, knitting and doing word search puzzle books.

She was also an incredibly avid Elvis fan and had an extensive collection of Elvis memorabilia in her home.

She was a wonderful lady with a big heart who was always there for others. She was always helping others in any way she could with whatever they needed.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She leaves a son, Gerard Sirois of Lewiston; a brother, Ed Lizotte and wife, Jacqueline, of Sabattus; a nephew, Edmond Lizotte and wife, Jessica; three nieces, Cynthia, Jill, and Julie Lizotte; two grandnephews, Hunter and Tyrell; and a grandniece, Ebony.
