SYRACUSE, N.Y. – William B. Stone, 62, of Liverpool, N.Y., passed away Friday, Feb. 23, at Crouse Irving Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y.

He was born in Boston, Mass., and a resident of Maine for 21 years, where he graduated from Edward Little High School in 1962. He moved to N.Y. in 1966. He was a Liverpool resident since 1971. He graduated from Bentley College, Waltham, Mass., with a bachelors of science degree, then later received an associates degree from Onondaga Community College in Criminal Justice.

He worked for Agway for many years in the internal audit department. After leaving Agway, he started his own accounting and tax business, Liverpool Accounting Service.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia (Damon) Stone; daughters, Carlene (Michael) Dietrich, of Liverpool, Diana Ashton, of Sharon Springs; beloved granddaughters, Christina and Sarah Dietrich, of Liverpool; his Aunts Rose, and Jackie Tuttle, of Maine.

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Elsie Stone, and several aunts and uncles from Maine.
