AUBURN – A funeral service honoring the life of Donald F. Miles was held Tuesday from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Chaplain Kitsie Claxton presiding and reciting committal prayers at Gracelawn Memorial Park. During the service words of remembrance were shared by Don’s son, Michael Miles as well as his reciting words of songs that reminded him of his father, which were “Turn, Turn, Turn” by the Byrds; “Mercy Now” by Mary Gauthier; “The Man is Alive” by Luke Bloom; “When You’re Gone, Long Gone” by the O’Kanes; “To Where You Are” by Josh Groban concluding with “Amazing Grace” sung by Judy Collins. The active pallbearers were, Dana Miles, Wallace Miles, Jay Bernard, David Greenlaw, Tom Bennett and David Stimson. Honorary bearers were Richard Cote and David Case. At the conclusion of services all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center, Auburn.
