WEST PARIS – Clara L. Wilson, 89, of West Paris, died at the Ledgeview Living Center on Feb. 11.

She was born on April 26, 1917, the daughter of John and Hazel (Bacon) Estes and was educated in local schools. She married Shirley Wilson on Aug. 20, 1932; he died Jan. 26, 1991.

She was a homemaker most of her life and had worked at B.E. Cole Shoe of Norway, Trap Corner Store in West Paris and most recently as a certified nurse’s aide at Ledgeview Living Center of West Paris. She was also a longtime member of Tri-Town Rescue Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Benjamin Wilson, and his wife, Linda, of Livermore; three brothers, Herbert Estes of Norway, Alfred Estes of Livermore and Harold Estes of Livermore; one sister, Mary Robinson of West Sumner; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Gwendolyn Wilson; and 10 siblings.
