NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Sherman F. Callahan Jr., 72, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., died Friday, Feb. 2. He was born in Auburn.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Elaine; four daughters, Linda Jahn of Waynesboro, Va., Cindy Morgan of Mechanic Falls, Kelly Callahan of Norway and Maureen Berube of Rochester, N.H.; one brother, Fred of Auburn; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
