BERLIN, N.H. – Velma M. (Lee) Gunn, 98, of 1808 Riverside Drive, Berlin, N.H., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at her home.
She was born in Livermore Falls, on Oct. 11, 1908, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Webber) Lee and had lived in Berlin since the age of 8.
She had been employed as a clerk for the County of Coos and was a member of the Berlin Women’s Club, the St. Louis Hospital Auxiliary and the Luncheon Bridge Club.
She enjoyed traveling, her camp, the outdoors and snowmobiling with her husband. She and her husband had wintered in Fort Myers, Fla., for many years.
Members of the family include two daughters, Mary Lee Thompson, of Berlin, N.H., and Louise Lasna of Westford, Mass.; four grandchildren Shawn Thompson of Berlin, N.H., Samantha Thompson Patry of Berlin, N.H.; Meredith Deeley of Lowell, Mass., and Richard Lasna of Hudson, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Gunn; two brothers, Howard Lee and Maurice Lee; and two sisters, Louise Rock and Erma Oliver.
