KENTS HILL – Annette Blanche Nadeau Fournier, 95, of Kents Hill, formerly of Livermore Falls, died Saturday morning, Dec. 16, at her home after a long illness.

Born in Livermore Falls on March 16, 1911, Annette was the daughter of Paul Nadeau Sr. and Anna Dube Gosselin, and was educated in the local schools.

She married Anatole “Tony” Fournier on Feb. 11, 1934, and spent most of her life as a housewife. He died Feb. 18, 1970.

She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Chisholm and a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Ladies of Saint Anne. Until recent years, she had been a member of the local Senior Citizens.

For the last six years of her life she lived in Kents Hill, with her daughter, Barbara, and next door to her other daughter, Corinne.

She enjoyed doing word- search puzzles, playing dominoes and watching the birds that frequented the bird feeders.

Her favorite times were those spent at family gatherings.

She is survived by a son, Robert Fournier and wife, Alfreda, of Auburn; two daughters, Corinne Drake and husband, Henry, and Barbara Cunningham, both of Kents Hill; grandchildren, Tim Drake and wife, Jane, of Litchfield, Terry Drake and wife, Brenda, of Fayette, John Drake of Sacramento, Calif., Melissa Fournier and partner, Diane Swire, of Bristol, R.I., Anthony “Tony” Fournier and wife, Stacey, of Auburn, Dain Cunningham and wife, Caroline, of Parker, Colo., and Erin Cunningham Dueber and husband, John, of Oakland, Calif.; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; sisters, Yvette Burke, Muriel Clarke and Violet Legere; brothers, Hugh, Paul and Jeffery Nadeau, and Victor and Pete Gosselin.
