MEXICO – A Mass of Christian Burial for John “Popeye” McDonald Jr. was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, at St Theresa’s Church with the Rev. Amato as the celebrant.

Wayne Petrie was the organist, and George Gionet was the altar server. Pallbearers were Craig Holmquist, Jay White, Wayne McPhee, Kevin McDonald, Dan McDonald and Steve Hodgkins. Interment will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
