Auburn – Juliette R. Bouchard, 82, of Lewiston passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice on Tuesday, Nov. 21. She has joined her loving husband in Heaven to be with the Lord.
She was born in Lewiston, on April 3, 1924, a daughter of the late Camille and Diana (Cyr) Vallee. She attended local Lewiston schools and Lewiston High School.
On Nov. 14, 1944, she married Leo A. Bouchard at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston; he predeceased her on April 14, 1985. She spent her life time taking care of her husband, her children and their home.
In her younger days she sang country-western music with a group on a local radio station WCOU, she greatly enjoyed dancing, singing, playing the guitar and listening to country-western music. It was Sunday afternoon tradition at her house that she and her husband would play the guitar and sing for family entertainment. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her two children, daughter, Carol Anne Parker and son, Roland R. Bouchard, and wife, Pauline; her five grandchildren, Tracey Stevens, Donna Bouchard, Anthony Bouchard, Steven Bouchard and Corey Parker; her eight great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kathleen Bouchard, Jacob Doyon, Kierra and Deven Bouchard, Joshua, Luke and Abigail Stevens; two sisters and three brothers, Rolande Hennessey, Anita Schultz, Roland, Roger and Robert Vallee; her special friend, Joseph Albert; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband; and by three sisters, Fernande Lago, Irene Cote and Germaine Boisvert.
A sincere appreciation and thanks are extended to the entire staff of the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Juliette and her family.
