FARMINGTON – John R. Kenney Sr., 67, of Farmington died Wednesday, Nov. 1, in Farmington.

He was born Oct. 15, 1939, in Farmington a son of the late Rupert D. and Mabel (Baud) Kenney. He was educated in the schools of Farmington and a graduate of Farmington High School. He drove the mixer for K & H Foster Redi-mix, Cianbro and most recently for Bernard Williams Trucking.

He was a member of the Maine Masonic Lodge 20 AF&AM. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two sons, John R. Kenney Jr. of Temple and Scott Kenney of Bangor; their mother, Donna Kenney of Farmington; two granddaughters, Kayla and Ashely; and a half-brother, Fred Leeman of New Vineyard.
