BANGOR – Faye Elaine Newton, 45, of Bradford, died Oct. 6, at a Bangor hospital.

She was born March 13, 1961, in Lewiston, the daughter of John Albert and Priscilla Edna (Bryant) Newton. She was a caring, devoted and loving mother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed.

She enjoyed taking care of people and loved to write poetry. Every person she came to know she touched in a special way.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, April Voisine of Bradford; a son, Ryan Voisine of Old Town; three sisters, Joy Conant of Buckfield, Marsha Whittemore of Dixfield and Wanda Turcotte of Peru; a brother, Michael Newton of Buckfield; companion of 23 years, Doug Gatcomb of Bradford; an uncle, Elton Bryant of Zephyrhills, Fla.; many nieces and nephews. Services will be private for the family.
