Lewiston – Irma Bisson Pomerleau, 97, formerly of 32 Boston Ave., died Saturday, Sept. 16 at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born on Nov. 19, 1908, at St. Martin de Beauce, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Charles and Odile Caron. She married Emile Bisson in Jackman on May 14, 1928, and they had 37 wonderful years together. He passed away on March 18, 1966. She married Antonio Pomerleau on June 21, 1974, and he died on Feb. 11, 2005. She worked in local mills for 35 years and was a member of Holy Cross Parish.

She is survived by two sons, Stanley Bisson and wife, Marielle, of Big Bear, Calif. and Roger Bisson and wife, Yvonne, of Lewiston; six grandchildren, Steven and Michael Bisson of California, Linda Blais and husband, Michael, of Lewiston, Gary Bisson of New York, Tina Andrews of Scarborough and John Bisson and wife, Susan, of Manchester, N.H.; 12 great-grandchildren; six stepchildren, Raymond, Bertrand, Reynald Pomerleau, Lucille Leclair, Doris Levasseur and Annette Forsman; and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
