LEWISTON – Barbara (Castonguay) Marcotte, 44, a former resident of Livermore Falls, died suddenly Monday, July 17, at CMMC.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1962 in Farmington, the daughter of Gerard and Sheila (Hall) Castonguay.
“Barbie” was a 1980 graduate of Livermore Falls High School.
She was residing in Brockton, Mass., and had been employed as probate court clerk for Boston. She had been in the process of moving back to Maine for the past few weeks.
She married Michael Marcotte in 1983; they later divorced.
Her two dogs, Ellie Mae and Courageous Calvin, were the love of her life. She also enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
She is survived by her parents of Livermore Falls; two brothers, Howard Castonguay of Portland; and Peter Castonguay and his wife, Wendy, of Wayne; her grandmother, Odelie Castonguay of Livermore Falls; and grandfather, Oliver Hall of Connecticut; two nephews, Zachary and Caleb; two nieces, Nicole and Rachel; and her godson, Pierre Castonguay and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her best friend, Lisa (Cronkhite) Souther.
