FRENCHVILLE – Holland Thibeault, 72, of Madawaska, died Tuesday, July 11, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.

He was born in St. Agatha on April 12, 1934, a son of the late Walter and Leona (Pelletier) Thibeault. He married Jacqueline Long on Oct. 29, 1956, and together they started their family.

He truly enjoyed and loved being with his wife, children and family. He especially enjoyed family gatherings and visiting friends and family. He loved horses, cars and enjoyed pickup drag pulls and even participated in a few of them during the yearly fairs in Presque Isle. He was a member of the Family Worship Assembly Church in St. David. He will be deeply missed.

He leaves his wife of almost 50 years, Jacqueline Thibeault; one son, Glenn and his wife, Tina, of Frenchville; two daughters, Karen Michaud and her husband, Alan, of Frenchville and Sandy Bonenfant and her husband, Jean Guy, of Fort Kent; five sisters, Madeline Dionne and her husband, Gedeon, of Bangor, Arlene Spugnardi of Fort Kent, Joanne Sirois of Madawaska, Nancy Beaulieu and her husband, Donald, of Madawaska and Sally Martin and her husband, Raymond, of Oklahoma; four brothers, Irvin of Madawaska, Ward and his wife, Noella, of Madawaska, Robert of Madawaska and Raynold and his wife, Pauline, of St. Agatha; nine grandchildren, Gordon Michaud and his wife, Iris, Dale Michaud, Todd and Randy Thibeault, Kelly Bonenfant, Joshua Robichaud and Jamie and Venessa Michaud.
