Lewiston – John A. Noel, 46, of Auburn, died peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, June 24.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1959, in Lewiston, the son of Joseph Laurier “Babe” and Rita (Doyon) Noel.

He enjoyed fishing, racing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He took pride in his work as a machinist at RF Technologies in Lewiston.

He is survived by his former wife of 21 years, Wanda Vaughan of Auburn; mother, Rita Noel; daughters, Melissa Noel and her companion, Dale Michaud, of Minot, Jamie Noel and her companion, Richard Zaccardi of Minn. and Jessica (Noel) and her husband, James Hutchinson, of Auburn; grandchildren, Alana, Adryana, Aidan, Angelina, Jesse James and Vincent.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Laurier (Babe) Noel of Auburn in 2000.
