FARMINGTON – Clayton A. Rundlett, 76, of West New Portland, died Friday morning, June 16, at the home of his caregiver, Shirley Hutchins.

He was born Oct. 7, 1929, in Wilton, a son of Eldrith and Caroline (Nemire) Rundlett. He received his education in New Portland schools and was an army medic during the Korean conflict.

He was employed for several years at Dirigo Dowel Wood Products in New Portland. He was a member of the NRA, had a gun collection and enjoyed fishing. He was a Boy Scout leader for many years and was a computer guru.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice and Marie Hupper, RN, for their dedication and support in helping to honor Clayton’s wishes to be cared for in the home of his caregiver.

He is survived by two sisters, Esther C. Peterson of Winchester, Mass., and Dorothy Chastein of Elgin, S.C.; two brothers, Robert Rundlett of New Portland and William Rundlett of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
