South Paris – Hayward A. Luck, 74, of Norway died Wednesday, June 14, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.

He was born in Norway on Dec. 16, 1931, the son of Edward A. and Irene Locke Luck. He graduated from Norway High School. He attended Becker College and was a business major at the University of New Hampshire. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He took over the family business, Twin Town Trailer Sales now known as Twin Town Homes, in 1957 from his father Alton Luck. He retired in 1995. He was instrumental in and a partner of Northeast Housing in 1972, and Oxford Homes in 1977. He was the owner and developer of Kal Shore Drive in Norway.

He was a 50-year member of the Oxford Lodge 18 AF & AM. He was also a member of Camp Cinnamon, Kora Temple, the Second Congregational Church of Norway and the Weary Club of Norway. He was co-owner of Oxford Plains Speedway in the 1960s.

He is survived by a brother, Edward A. Luck of North Hampton, N.H.; nieces, Shelley L. Cross and her husband, Robert, and their children, Taylor and Spencer, all of Hampton Falls, N.H., and Alison M. Luck of Scarborough; several cousins; and his dog, Fritz. He held a special place in his heart for Robert Huotari, Carol Huotari and their daughter, Amanda, as well as his Twin Town family.
