Lewiston – Normand M. Pelletier, 68, of Eaton Street, died Monday, June 5, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a period of failing health, with his wife and family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 17, 1937, the son of Alderic and Yvonne (Lebel) Pelletier.

He was educated in Lewiston schools. On June 30, 1962, he married the former Lorraine Roux. Prior to his retirement he worked his entire career in the local shoe industry for several area shoe companies. He was a member of Holy Family church and the Past Time Club. His family always came first. He loved bowling and was an avid baseball enthusiast and very fond of animals, especially his own pets.

He is survived by his wife of Lewiston; four sisters, Rena Blanchette and companion, Richard St. Amand, Pauline Larrivee and companion, Lou Chapman, Joanne and husband Richard Renaud, and Linda and husband, Richard Cass, all of Lewiston; many nieces and nephews; and two godchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents.
