South Paris – Edward J. Perry, 86, of Main Street, Roxbury Pond, died Sunday, March 26, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.

He was born in Yarmouth, on July 24, 1919, a son of Joseph and Mary (Arsenault) Perry.

Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.

He was employed for many years at Boise Cascade in Rumford.

He was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by a son, Stevens Perry and wife, Patricia, of Woodbridge, Va.; a grandson, Cody Perry of Woodbridge, Va.; a sister, Margaret Venskus and husband, Ernest, of Rumford; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Louella (Conrad) Perry in November 2005.
