COLUMBIA, S.C. – Imelda Charest, 94, formerly of Lewiston, died Wednesday, March 8, in Columbia, S.C., at the home of her daughter, Pauline.

She was the wife of the late Odea Charest.

She was born Nov. 9, in St. Henri Levi, Quebec.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, son, Donald, and daughters, Pauline, Odette and Priscilla; sisters, Germaine Cote of Lewiston, and Simone Paradis of Canada; five grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, John, Anthony and Nicole; a great-granddaughter, Hannah Grace; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
