TURNER – Marion M. Richardson, 92, a longtime resident of Turner, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Dec. 29.

She was born on March 23, 1913, in South Paris, the daughter of Edward and Mable Cash Field. She was raised by her grandparents Anson and Martha Cash, and graduated from Canton High School, Class of 1931.

On Jan. 10, 1934, she married Eugene E. Richardson Sr. in West Paris. He passed away in 1996.

Marion was a homemaker all of her life. She belonged to the Mothers Club of Turner, Turner Village Church and the TVC Ladies Circle.

She is survived by 11 children, six daughters, Mrs. Oswald (Joan) Campbell, Mrs. Robert (Goldie) Samson, Erla Shocklee, Shirley Cummings, Mrs. Greg (Martha) Trask, all of whom reside in Turner, and Mrs. Kenneth (Cody) Buck of Onondaga, N.Y.; five sons and their wives, Eugene Jr. and Edna Richardson, David and Sheila Richardson, Harry and Gwen Richardson, Dan and Jane Richardson and Lonnie Richardson, all of Turner; 29 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Mildred Henry of Hartford; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Davenport of Canton and Vivian Field of Clinton; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dee Stirling, Nick and Brandon Labbe, Betty Brown and Teresa Reichel.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years; a granddaughter, Darcy Richardson; a great-grandson, Brett McLaughlin; and two sons-in-law, Randall Shocklee and Leland Cummings.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and by her special pet dog “Rosie.” The family wishes to thank Androscoggin Home Hospice, especially Caryn Demers, RN, and Deanna Buzzell, CNA, for all their special care.
