RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Annette G. Austin was celebrated Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Athanasius and St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant, assisted by Deacon Rod Berger.

Altar server was George Gionet, and organist was Mark Belanger. Reader was Catherine Ross. The eulogy was given by Vito Salatino and Gordon Howe. Special music, “Amazing Grace,” was sung by Tammy Schmersal-Burgess. Presentation of the gifts was done by grandchildren, Coral Howe and William Gilman. Interment will be in the spring at St. John Cemetery in Rumford. A reception followed the services at the Sons of Italy Hall in Smithcrossing, Rumford.
