COON RAPIDS, Minn. – Rodolphe “Ralph” Doucette, 85, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, in Coon Rapids, Minn.

Born in Lewiston on Sept. 19, 1920, he was the son of Rodolphe and Corinne (Fouquet) Doucette Sr. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his brother, Laurent and his wife, Therese; his sister, Anita and her husband, Clarence Fortier; his brother, Lucien; his children, Pauline and her husband, Herb Parker, of Gainesville, Fla., Richard of Gainesville, Fla., Judy Berhow, Jim and Cindy, Jeff and his wife, Debbie, Joni and her husband, Jerry Krank, Jackie and her husband, Tim Conley, Jane and her husband, Cary Hirsch, John and his wife, Lora, Jennifer and her husband, Randy Mains, Jerry and Kim, and Janis Mohs; 29 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Irene Kotze; and a sister, Lorette Beland, who died on Jan. 9.
