NEW GLOUCESTER – Emily Caron, 91, of Lewiston, died Saturday, Oct. 29, at her daughter and granddaughter’s home in New Gloucester surrounded by her family.

She was born in Madawaska on Aug. 13, 1914, the daughter of Denis and Julie (Lavertu) Clavette.

She is survived by her daughter, Leona Lebrun of Sabattus; two sons, Normand Caron of Florida, and Lionel Caron of New Jersey; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lucien and Thomas Clavette of Madawaska; two sisters, Lorette Rossignol of Georgia, and Marie St. Hilaire of Arizona.

She was predeceased by her son, Chanel Caron.
