Curt Lane of Randolph drives onto Upper Range Pond in Poland on Friday to go ice-fishing. Lane said a fisherman who keeps his shack on the pond plowed a path for people to drive on the pond. Lane said he has had luck pulling in brown trout and brook trout on Lower Range Pond this winter, but has only caught a few bass on Upper Range. “They are in here. It’s just a matter of getting lucky,” he said.
