GENEVA, Ohio — Penn State runner and Lewiston High School graduate Isaiah Harris won two titles at the Big 10 indoor track and field championships Saturday at the Spire Institute.
Harris, a sophomore, won his second 800-meter title with a time of 1:47.23. Harris’ time Saturday was not fast enough to beat the Big 10 record he set in 2016.
Harris also ran the anchor leg of the Nittany Lions’ conference-championship-winning 4×400-meter relay. Dan Chisena, Xavier Smith, Samuel Reiser and Harris achieved a time of 3:04.80 in the final.
Harris’ first-place showings helped the Penn State men’s team finish second overall. The Nittany Lions’ women’s team won the team championship. Those combined finishes are the best showing for Penn State’s teams at the Big 10 meet.
