JAY — Residents will have two selectpersons races to consider at the annual town meeting referendum April 25.
Two newcomers are running unchallenged for two, three-year terms on the Regional School Unit 73 Board of Directors.
Absentee ballots will be available March 24 at the Town Office.
Fourth Selectperson F. Timothy DeMillo is being challenged by Budget Committee member Ricky Merrill.
Three people are vying for a three-year fifth selectperson seat. Incumbent Thomas Goding is being challenged by Anthony “Tony” Couture and Gary McGrane.
The selectperson terms are each three years.
Seeking two, three-year terms on the RSU 73 board are Dale LeBlanc and Robert Staples. Darcie Calden and Amy McDaniel did not seek re-election.
Trustees on the Jay Village and North Jay water districts are seeking re-election. Gerald Hutchinson is uncontested in his bid for another three-year term on the Jay Village Water District. Raymond Fleury II is also unchallenged for another three-year term on the North Jay Water District.
