Guy Iverson has earned Chesterville residents’ votes for a second term as selectman. During his first term, he has shown himself to be a steady voice for the town without any partisan politics or personal preferences getting in the way.
Iverson listens to all citizens, then works hard to accomplish the best outcome.
He cares about individual circumstances, but also keeps a close eye on the public purse, making sure the town gets the most bang for its buck when spending residents’ tax dollars.
He is transparent in his operations and invites full participation from townspeople on issues facing Chesterville.
What Chesterville needs right now is someone with his experience and demonstrated leadership.
I hope residents will consider Guy Iverson for selectman when voting Monday, March 13. He has earned election for a second term.
Ed Libby, Chesterville

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
